FakePress Publishing is an italian think-tank and publishing house. FakePress does not produce ordinary publications: its focus goes toward the creation of novel scenarios in which ubiquitous technologies allow transforming the idea of "publishing" into something new, according to which information can be accessed and experienced through natural interaction schemes, objects, environments, architectures and directly on bodies. FakePress promotes forms of narratives which are emergent, generative, ubiquitous, non-linear, and radically multi-author. FakePress' publications are generated through the active contributions of thousands of people, sensors and knowledge and information sources which are used to create multiple layers of information stratified onto the physical world, realizing information landscapes which can be accessed in a variety of ways.
